Birmingham City utilise extended break with behind-closed-doors friendly after encouraging start

Birmingham City have arranged a behind-closed-doors friendly to maintain match fitness during an extended three-week international break. Manager Chris Davies confirmed the fixture will replicate Championship conditions ahead of their upcoming trip to face West Bromwich Albion on October 10.

Six players departed for international duty, including Jhon Solis, Liam Millar, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Paik Seung-ho, August Priske, and James Beadle, leaving Davies with a 19-man training squad. Birmingham have earned 11 points across their opening eight league matches with two wins, five draws, and one defeat.
