Carlos Vicente has reflected on his adaptation to Birmingham City, claiming the club is a level above some Championship rivals while revealing his nine-year pursuit of degrees in business and law. The 27-year-old winger explained that studying was originally his primary plan before professional football became his priority, leaving higher education as his long-term alternative.
Vicente joined Birmingham City from Alaves for £7 million in January and has registered two goals and an assist this season. Manager Chris Davies has regularly praised Vicente's physical endurance and tactical awareness, with the player completing the full 90 minutes in 11 of the club's last 15 matches.
