Blackburn Rovers are actively monitoring Sunderland attacker Timur Tuterov ahead of a potential transfer in the January window, according to reporter Alan Nixon. Rovers manager Tony Mowbray is reportedly keeping personal tabs on the 21-year-old forward as he seeks to bolster his attacking options following a quiet summer.

Tuterov signed a contract extension with Sunderland earlier this summer keeping him at the club until 2028, but he could be allowed to leave on a winter loan. The forward spent time on loan at Exeter City last season, where he recorded three goals and one assist in 17 appearances.
