Quilindschy Hartman discusses future beyond Espanyol loan spell…
Burnley defender Quilindschy Hartman has admitted his future remains uncertain beyond his current season-long loan spell with La Liga club Espanyol. The 24-year-old left-back has started only two matches in Spain since leaving Turf Moor during the summer. While Espanyol hold an option to make the transfer permanent, there is no obligation to purchase.
Hartman remains under contract with Burnley until 2029, though a return could prove tense after he publicly criticized the town and was booed during pre-season. The Netherlands international noted that any final decision will depend on both clubs and his performances in Spain.
