Derby County are set a 34-year-old to add to their ranks as they look to ease their central defensive injury problems.

Derby County have completed the signing of veteran defender Shane Duffy on a free transfer, the club has confirmed. The 34-year-old center-back arrives on a short-term contract at Pride Park after leaving Norwich City in the summer. Duffy had been training with John Eustace's side for the past two weeks and is available for selection against Millwall on Saturday.
The Rams moved for Duffy amid an acute defensive injury crisis that has left up to seven defenders unavailable, including six injured and Dion Sanderson suspended. With central defenders Sondre Langas, Eiran Cashin, and Matt Clarke sidelined, Eustace had only Jack Robinson available as a specialist center-back before Duffy's arrival.
