The former Derby midfielder who spent four years at the club will be in charge of the National League clash against Boston United…

Former Derby County midfielder Jacob Butterfield and Ross Barrows have been appointed interim managers of Scunthorpe United following the dismissal of manager Andy Butler. Butler was fired after Scunthorpe secured just three wins from their first 14 league games, leaving the club in the bottom four of the National League table. Assistant manager John Schofield was also relieved of his duties.
Butterfield, who joined the club in the summer as a player-coach, previously made more than 80 appearances for Derby County before departing in 2019. The interim duo will take charge of the team ahead of their upcoming National League fixture away against Boston United.
