Derby County were active in the transfer market this summer and here Leigh Bromby talks to Derby County writer Leigh Curtis about the strategy and one signing in particular

Derby County signed forward Henrik Meister on loan from Italian club Pisa during the summer transfer window. The club moved for the 22-year-old attacker as part of a succession plan following an Achilles injury sustained by Patrick Agyemang, according to Derby's head of talent ID Leigh Bromby.
Bromby explained that Derby prioritized scouting observations over modest data statistics, focusing on Meister's performances against top-tier Serie A defenders, including an Atalanta center-back valued at £20 million. Head coach John Eustace aims to utilize Meister's pace, height, and versatility across the front three.
