Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg has suggested that striker David Strelec is unlikely to start against Watford on Saturday. Despite leading scorer Will Lankshear potentially missing the match through injury, Strelec is still working his way back to full fitness following a lengthy muscular lay-off.
Strelec returned to action recently with substitute appearances against Charlton Athletic and in Wednesday's 2-0 defeat at Wrexham. Hellberg noted that limited training time and extensive travel make it difficult to rush the Slovakian forward into a starting role.
