Mark Robins offered his thoughts after Middlesbrough's dramatic 3-2 win over Stoke City
Stoke City manager Mark Robins praised Middlesbrough as one of the Championship's top sides following his team's 3-2 defeat at the bet365 Stadium. Robins lauded Boro's tactical setup under coach Kim Hellberg, noting that their clever positioning, squad depth, and recruitment make them a benchmark Stoke should aspire to emulate.
Middlesbrough claimed victory with a 91st-minute winner after twice surrendering leads, with goals from Callum Brittain, Will Lankshear, and Neto Borges ending Stoke's winning run. Robins acknowledged that facing Boro on short rest proved difficult due to the extensive preparation required to counter their tactical system.
