The former Hull, Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday man has taken up the new performance director role…

Portsmouth have appointed Stephen Gilpin as the club's first performance director following his three-and-a-half-year stint at Wolves. Pompey sporting director Rich Hughes hailed the move as a major step forward, aiming to enhance bespoke player programming and significantly reduce the team's injury burden across the club.
Gilpin previously served as a first-team physiotherapist at Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday, as well as head of performance at Rotherham United. He will oversee Portsmouth's medical and sports science departments, working closely with Hughes and head coach John Mousinho once an official start date is finalized.
