Portsmouth boss’ warning over ex-Birmingham and Crystal Palace man after nightmare time at Fratton Park

Portsmouth manager John Mousinho stated the club must take a cautious approach with winger Keshi Anderson following his return to training. The 31-year-old former Birmingham player has been sidelined by a quad injury that kept him out of Portsmouth's first eight matches of the 2026-27 campaign.

Anderson joined Portsmouth on a free transfer in January and has scored one goal in seven appearances after battling multiple hamstring injuries. Mousinho indicated that the team aims to utilize a three-week gap to build Anderson's fitness, targeting an October 11 match against Southampton for a potential return.
