Former Sheffield United transfer target makes Blades admission ahead of Wrexham clash

Wrexham defender Joe Worrall has spoken ahead of Friday night's Championship match against Sheffield United, praising Chris Wilder's side and anticipating an intense atmosphere at Bramall Lane. Worrall was heavily targeted by the Blades during the summer transfer window, but Sheffield United were unable to match Wrexham's £2 million offer to secure his permanent transfer.

Worrall highlighted players such as Patrick Bamford and goalkeeper Michael Cooper as key threats for the 12th-placed Blades. The centre-back also noted that teammate Callum O'Hare, who left Sheffield United last month, shared positive insights about the Bramall Lane dressing room as 17th-placed Wrexham aim to bounce back from a recent defeat.
