New Sheffield United favourite stars in Bristol City win – Wilder ‘would be interested’ in future transfer deal

Sheffield United loan defender Liam Kitching earned significant praise following an impressive display in the club's 1-0 victory against Bristol City. The Coventry City loanee produced 14 defensive contributions, including eight clearances and three interceptions, to help manager Chris Wilder's side secure all three points at Ashton Gate. Oliver Arblaster scored the only goal of the game, lifting the Blades to 11th place in the Championship.

Wilder confirmed he would be interested in pursuing a permanent transfer for the center-back if the opportunity becomes available. Kitching is currently on a season-long loan, and while his Coventry City contract expires at the end of the campaign, James Ray reports that Sheffield United's ownership challenges and Coventry's league status could influence any potential future agreement.
