Charlton boss Nathan Jones: “All we can do is more work, big them up, give them a cuddle”

Sheffield United will face a pressured Charlton Athletic side this Saturday following Charlton's 1-0 home defeat to Bolton Wanderers. The Addicks were booed off by their home supporters after a defensive error allowed Bolton striker Sam Dalby to score the decisive goal early in the first half. Charlton manager Nathan Jones defended his team's effort and work rate, promising to encourage and support his squad ahead of hosting the Blades.
Despite recording 14 shots and dominating possession, Charlton struggled in the final third and hit the target just twice. Jones criticized his team's lack of quality in attack and defensive concentration while noting they must improve their execution. The defeat leaves Charlton 21st in the Championship table, just four points clear of the relegation zone as they search for their first league victory since August.
