Sheffield United beat Wrexham 1-0 at Bramall Lane in the Championship on Friday night.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson questioned his players' attitude and desire following a 1-0 Championship defeat to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Friday night. A first-half goal from Ben Brereton Díaz earned the victory for Chris Wilder's side. Wrexham struggled to make an impact throughout the match, managing only a single shot on target from Sam Smith in second-half stoppage time.
Parkinson compared the subdued display to previous spirited cup clashes against the Blades when Wrexham competed in the National League. Despite investing more than £20 million during the summer transfer window, Wrexham have collected 14 points from their opening 13 league matches, matching their slow start from the previous campaign.
