Sheffield United are keen to tie down their summer recruit to an extension at Bramall Lane after he only penned a one-year deal.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has confirmed he wants to secure a contract extension for Hamza Choudhury at Bramall Lane. The 29-year-old midfielder signed a one-year deal over the summer, and the club aims to avoid losing him on a free transfer when his current terms expire.
Choudhury has made 11 appearances across all competitions this season, featuring in central midfield and at right-back. Wilder described the former Leicester City player as a smart signing whom he trusts and wants to keep at the club long-term.
