Southampton head coach Tonda Eckert is looking forward to reuniting with former goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu when the Saints host Bolton Wanderers this Saturday. Bazunu is expected to start against his former club following a summer move to Bolton, marking his return to St Mary's.
Eckert praised the 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international as one of the best goalkeepers when playing out from the back. Bazunu spent four seasons on the south coast before joining newly promoted Bolton, where he has enjoyed a positive start to the season.
