Southampton FC wins approval for two new ticket offices and four food and drink units at St Mary’s Stadium.
Plans to expand the matchday facilities for Southampton Football Club supporters around St Mary's Stadium have officially been approved. Southampton City Council approved proposals submitted by the club that feature two new ticket offices along with four additional food and beverage units for the venue. This latest application serves as the third amendment to the club's original fan zone scheme, which received initial planning permission in 2024.
According to a planning letter submitted on behalf of Southampton by PowerHaus Consultancy, the stadium changes are necessary to meet facility requirements for the 2026/27 season. The newly approved layout places one ticket office for home fans outside the Chapel and Itchen stands, while an away supporters' ticket office will sit near the Kingsland stand. All four new catering units will be positioned inside the Chapel Stand fan zone.
