Southampton FC secured their first away victory of the Championship season on Wednesday night with a 1-0 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road. Kuryu Matsuki scored the decisive second-half goal to seal the win after manager Tonda Eckert made four changes to the starting lineup.
Midfielder Caspar Jander earned high praise from Dan Hargraves after replacing Flynn Downes midway through the first half. Returning from a three-month injury layoff, Jander registered 60 touches, recorded a 98 percent passing accuracy, and forced the save that led to Matsuki's match-winning strike.
