Congratulations to Stoke City playmaker Bae Junho

Stoke City playmaker Bae Junho helped South Korea under-23s win the Asian Games gold medal by defeating hosts Japan on Saturday. The victory earns the 23-year-old an exemption from compulsory South Korean military service, which typically lasts between 18 and 21 months.
Following the victory, head coach Lee Min-sung expressed hope that players from the squad will advance to revitalise the senior national team. Junho will now return to England to prepare for Stoke City's upcoming Championship fixture against Bolton Wanderers.
