Stoke City have scored in 15 of their 16 games so far this season but are still looking for a striker who can find the net regularly…
Former Stoke City coach Phillips shared his verdict on the club's striking options, urging the forwards to step up and reach double figures. While Stoke City sit fourth in the Championship and have scored in 15 of their 16 matches, their primary center-forwards have only managed a handful of league goals this campaign.
Phillips noted that creating consistent chances and finding a forward suited to the manager's system are essential for long-term success. Midfielder Jack McGlynn currently leads the team with four goals, while strikers Lamine Cisse, Robert Bozenik, and George Hirst have contributed fewer strikes.
