Stoke City will go up against an old foe when they take more than two thousand fans to Blackburn Rovers in mid-week…

Blackburn Rovers manager Tony Mowbray reflected on his side's costly tactical errors following a 4-0 defeat against Swansea City ahead of their clash with Stoke City. Mowbray warned that trying to pass out from the back against high-pressing opponents caused their downfall, taking responsibility for not delivering strong enough tactical instructions.
Rovers currently sit 13th in the Championship table after Swansea goals from Stephen Eustaquio, Joseph Opoku, Filip Lissah, and Ross Stewart. Ahead of upcoming fixtures, Blackburn saw Kristi Montgomery, Yuri Ribeiro, and Yuki Ohashi return from injury, though Mathias Jorgensen remains sidelined.
