Lincoln City midfielder Ivan Varfolomeev signs a one-year contract extension to remain with the Championship club until the summer of 2030.

Lincoln City midfielder Ivan Varfolomeev has signed a one-year contract extension to stay with the Championship club until the summer of 2030. The 22-year-old Ukrainian originally arrived in the summer of 2025 from Czech club Slovan Liberec for a fee of around £350,000, helping Lincoln achieve promotion to the second tier by winning the League One title in his debut season.
Lincoln sporting director Jez George praised the midfielder as an outstanding young talent crucial to the club's long-term future. The contract renewal comes as Varfolomeev earns his first senior call-up to the Ukraine national team ahead of upcoming Nations League fixtures.
