‘Point to prove’ – West Brom can be confident about attacker’s return

West Bromwich Albion manager James Morrison stated that injured attacker Mikey Johnston will return with a point to prove once available. The 27-year-old winger broke his ankle in February and suffered a subsequent setback after making a brief substitute appearance against Rotherham in the EFL Cup.

Morrison highlighted that Johnston's absence was felt during recent 1-1 home draws against Charlton and QPR. The manager also revealed plans to potentially deploy the former Celtic player in a central support striker role once he recovers.
