George Campbell is part of USA’s new wave of talent as world renowned boss Mauricio Pochettino looks to take the nation into a new era.

West Bromwich Albion captain George Campbell believes working under United States head coach Mauricio Pochettino can sharpen his game. The 25-year-old defender recently earned his second international cap during the USA's 4-1 victory over Peru. Campbell stated that learning from Pochettino's incredible background provides a valuable opportunity to combine different coaching styles with his own.
Campbell, who joined West Brom from CF Montreal in 2025, was named club captain following the departure of Alex Mowatt. Under Albion manager James Morrison, Campbell has established himself as a consistent performer at centre-back while looking to solidify his place in the national team.
