West Ham United midfielder Mohamadou Kante is reportedly drawing interest from the France Under-21 national setup following his breakthrough under manager Nuno Espirito Santo. The 21-year-old Paris-born midfielder is eligible for both France and Senegal, though he has not yet received a formal call-up or chosen his international future. Kante has scored three Championship goals across eight league appearances this season.
West Ham reportedly turned down summer interest from Fiorentina and an unnamed French club to keep Kante, who is currently under contract until 2031. The club is now reportedly considering offering him improved terms. Kante will miss the upcoming match against QPR after receiving a red card during a recent comeback against Millwall.
