A defensive Scott Parker felt that Max Kilman should have been awarded a free-kick moments before Blackburn Rovers doubled their lead in Saturday’s 2-1 Championship…

West Ham United manager Scott Parker argued that defender Max Kilman was fouled prior to Blackburn Rovers' second goal in Saturday's 2-1 Championship defeat at Ewood Park. Kilman went down following a challenge from Yuki Ohashi, allowing Dapo Afolayan to score, but referee Thomas Kirk allowed play to continue. Parker defended his squad post-match, noting he was hurt by chants from visiting supporters.
Kilman received a yellow card for protesting the non-call, marking his fifth caution of the season. Consequently, the center-back will serve a suspension for West Ham's upcoming fixture against Preston North End following the international break. Andri Gudjohnsen had earlier opened the scoring for Blackburn in the 54th minute.
