West Ham succeeded where Tottenham failed as Juventus do Hammers tribute

Juventus defeated AZ Alkmaar away from home in the Europa League, joining West Ham United and Aston Villa as the only sides to win at the AFAS Stadium in European competition since May 2023. West Ham previously achieved the feat during their successful 2023 Europa Conference League campaign, while London rivals Tottenham Hotspur suffered a defeat there in March 2025.

Luciano Spalletti's Juventus won following goals from former AZ Alkmaar player Teun Koopmeiners and Randal Kolo Muani. The result ended Alkmaar's lengthy home run and lifted the Italian club into the Europa League's top eight positions.
