Speaking on the Official Wolves Podcast, Saiss opened up on Wolves’ remarkable promotion season and the Nuno impact.

Former Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Romain Saiss revealed he considered leaving the club after his difficult first season before their 2017/18 promotion campaign. Speaking on the Official Wolves Podcast, Saiss explained that he was uncertain about the club's direction following his 2016 arrival from France. He decided to evaluate the project during pre-season before committing to stay.
The defender chose to remain after observing significant changes under newly appointed manager Nuno Espirito Santo, alongside major summer signings such as Ruben Neves and Diogo Jota. Saiss praised Nuno's motivational impact and tactical clarity, which helped propel Wolves to the Championship title with a club-record 99 points.
