Wolverhampton legends abseil from roof of Molineux’s Billy Wright stand in charity challenge

Broadcaster Suzi Perry and former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy abseiled from the roof of the Billy Wright stand at Molineux on Saturday. The charity challenge was part of a two-day fundraising event organised to support the Wolves Foundation, the club's official charity.

McCarthy, who managed Wolves for over six years and led them to Premier League promotion in 2009, participated after being persuaded by Perry, an ambassador for the foundation. Both completed the descent to pitch side while being guided by experts and cheered on by supporters.
