Wolves have suffered a fresh setback as summer signing Jordan James has picked up an injury.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jordan James is facing a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury. The 22-year-old was forced off just after the half-hour mark during Wolves' 3-0 victory against Cardiff City last Saturday. James was ruled out of Wednesday's Championship fixture against Bristol City and is expected to miss the upcoming match against Wrexham.
James joined Wolves on loan from Rennes in August and had made consecutive league starts for the first time before the setback. Manager Cesar Peixoto revealed that the Wales international felt discomfort prior to the Cardiff fixture, but initial assessments had cleared him to play before further testing confirmed the issue.
