Parkinson explains how Wrexham have used international break

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson explained that the three-week international break has allowed key players to recharge after a busy start to the Championship campaign. Squad members who played heavily were granted time off last week before returning to training, while injured players remained at the club to continue rehabilitation work ahead of returning to league action against Derby County.

Five Wrexham players—Danny Ward, Kieffer Moore, Issa Kabore, Jacques Ekomie, and Bailey Cadamarteri—are away on international duty and will return gradually. To maintain sharpness for the rest of the squad, Parkinson scheduled a behind-closed-doors friendly match.
