Phil Parkinson has a knack of responding to adversity and he did it again.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson successfully eased recent pressure after leading his team to a 4-1 Championship victory over Preston North End at The Racecourse. The decisive win followed a disappointing 2-1 midweek home loss to West Bromwich Albion, which had left the club struggling near the bottom of the table early in the season.
Parkinson switched to a 3-4-1-2 formation featuring Sam Smith alongside Kieffer Moore in attack as four different players scored. The result lifted Wrexham to 14th place with 14 points from 11 matches, providing momentum ahead of their upcoming away match against Blackburn Rovers.
