Ben Whiteman was booed all game by Preston supporters and the midfielder had no hesitation in 'giving it back' after scoring against his former club.
Wrexham midfielder Ben Whiteman responded to taunts from visiting Preston supporters by blowing a kiss toward the away end after scoring against his former club. Whiteman's first goal for Wrexham helped Phil Parkinson's side secure a 4-1 victory over Preston at The Racecourse on Saturday, following his move from Deepdale in August.
Joe Worrall, Kieffer Moore, and Sam Smith also scored for Wrexham in the Championship match. Whiteman, who made over 200 appearances during five and a half years at Preston, stated that he found the crowd's jeering humorous and expressed satisfaction with Wrexham's clinical finishing in the match.
