Will Smallbone has signed a three-year contract at the King Power Stadium

Leicester City have completed the signing of free agent midfielder Will Smallbone on a three-year contract. The 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international reunites with manager Russell Martin at the King Power Stadium, becoming Martin's 15th signing at the club following the closure of the summer transfer window.
Smallbone left Southampton during the summer after an 18-year spell that included winning promotion under Martin in 2024. He spent the previous campaign on loan at Millwall, where he was limited to 10 appearances due to injury, and now bolsters Leicester's midfield alongside recent arrival John Lundstram.
