Kasper Schmeichel retired with a shoulder injury in the summer, but the Leicester City man is keen to stay in the game.

Former Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has announced his desire to transition into football management. Speaking to talkSPORT, the 39-year-old revealed he is actively working toward earning his coaching badges while undertaking media work. Schmeichel officially retired as a player in the summer following the expiration of his contract with Celtic, having sustained a severe shoulder injury in March that prevented him from concluding his career on his own terms.
The72 suggests a potential future return to Leicester City could be an option for Schmeichel as his coaching path develops. Across an 11-year stay at the King Power Stadium from 2011 to 2022, Schmeichel made 479 appearances, recorded 146 clean sheets, and won the Premier League title.
