Manchester United and Arsenal had looked to sign Louis Page in the summer, but the Leicester City talent is benefitting from the failed move.

Charlie Hodgson of The72 argues that Leicester City midfielder Louis Page is benefiting from remaining at the club after a proposed summer move to Manchester United failed. Leicester rejected approaches valued between £10m and £15m from Manchester United and Arsenal, keeping the 18-year-old on a contract running through 2029 under manager Russell Martin in League One.
Hodgson notes that Page is thriving with regular senior playing time, recording three assists in his first nine league matches. Rather than being restricted to youth or cup matches at a top-flight team, Page's consistent starting role and underlying creative metrics suggest staying at Leicester is fostering his long-term professional development.
