Robbie Savage says ‘it’s not Real Madrid or Barcelona’ as Leicester City showdown looms

Peterborough United manager Robbie Savage has urged his squad not to be intimidated ahead of their match against Leicester City, reminding them that their upcoming opponent is not Real Madrid or Barcelona. The clash at the King Power Stadium marks Savage's first EFL fixture as manager, taking his second-bottom League One team to face the Foxes.

Savage emphasized belief and a high-pressing approach, noting that an early goal could exploit Leicester's current vulnerabilities. Despite previously managing only in the Northern Premier and National Leagues, Savage insisted his team has nothing to lose and holds full belief they can win.
