Will Smallbone is set for a new role in the Leicester City midfield…

Leicester City manager Russell Martin has hinted that midfielder Will Smallbone will feature in a more advanced position in future matches. Smallbone made his first start for the Foxes on Tuesday night against Wigan Athletic, replacing suspended midfielder John Lundstram and completing an hour of action in a deeper central role alongside Louis Page.
Martin praised Smallbone's versatility and familiarity with his tactical system, noting that he expects the summer signing to push further forward. With Lundstram returning from suspension and Sammy Braybrooke also competing for minutes, Martin faces tactical decisions across his midfield ahead of Saturday's fixture.
