Wout Faes' time at Leicester City has finally come to an end after a troublesome four years in England

Wout Faes has ended his four-year tenure at Leicester City by completing a permanent transfer to Shabab Al-Ahli on Monday. The Belgian defender originally joined the Foxes in 2022 for £15 million to replace Wesley Fofana, but his spell at the King Power Stadium was marked by inconsistency and multiple relegations.
Faes previously spent time on loan at AS Monaco before returning to Leicester under Russell Martin. Despite featuring in pre-season, he was excluded from selection early in the campaign before securing his permanent departure.
