Sheffield Wednesday duo in line for international opportunities as youngsters target minutes

Sheffield Wednesday loanees Kieran Morrison and Harry Gray are set for international action on Friday evening. Morrison is in Michael O’Neill’s 28-man Northern Ireland squad facing Georgia in the UEFA Nations League in Tbilisi, aiming to earn his second cap after making his debut in June. Meanwhile, 17-year-old Gray could make his debut for England's Under-19s against the Republic of Ireland at St George's Park.

Morrison, on loan from Liverpool, has recorded two assists in six League One games this season ahead of Northern Ireland's four Nations League fixtures in 11 days. Gray, who joined Wednesday on loan from Leeds United in July, earned his first England Under-19 call-up under manager Ben Futcher for a four-game friendly series.
