The latest as Sheffield Wednesday continued their process to hire a new manager.

Sheffield Wednesday are advancing their managerial search following the dismissal of Henrik Pedersen, with selected candidates set to meet club ownership and CEO David Bruce. Initial interviews have been conducted by sporting director Simon Wilson, brand director Oscar Chamberlain, and consultant Aaron Briggs, who are assessing coaching teams from both domestic and international backgrounds.
Free agent Dave Challinor is reportedly among the contenders on the narrowing shortlist. A new appointment could be finalized next week, while Matt Hamshaw is expected to manage the side for Sunday's match against Blackpool.
