The Owls conceded late on to draw against Blackpool…

Sheffield Wednesday are considering an appeal against Sil Swinkels' red card received during their 1-1 draw with Blackpool. Swinkels was sent off as the last man before halftime after bringing down Tom Bloxham, when Wednesday were leading via Davis Keillor-Dunn's opener. Interim manager Matt Hamshaw confirmed staff will consult with incoming manager Dave Challinor regarding a potential appeal.
Blackpool capitalized on the extra man to equalize in the 81st minute through former Wednesday player Jerry Yates. Incoming boss Challinor watched from the stands ahead of his official announcement on Monday, with the draw leaving Wednesday ninth in League One.
