As of October 31, Wednesday hold just an 18.78% probability of earning promotion via the play-offs and a 1.32% chance of winning the league.
Earlier in the season, Wednesday had been projected to finish as high as third following a strong five-game opening run. Elsewhere in the division, Huddersfield Town are currently favored to win the League One title with a 27.78% probability, followed by Stockport County, Oxford United, and Bradford City.
