The Story in 60 Seconds

Incoming Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Challinor could be boosted by the return of defenders Di’Shon Bernard and Liam Cooper for his first match in charge. Challinor was in attendance during Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Blackpool ahead of his official unveiling, with the club already confirming an agreement to hire the 51-year-old former Stockport County boss.

Interim manager Matt Hamshaw revealed that Bernard and Cooper narrowly missed the Blackpool fixture to avoid unnecessary risk, but both could return for the FA Cup trip to Oldham Athletic.
