Reece James has been excellent since returning to Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer during the summer.

Sheffield Wednesday caretaker boss Matt Hamshaw praised left-back Reece James as "an unbelievable pro" following his strong performance in Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Cambridge United. Restored to the starting lineup at Hillsborough, James proved to be a major attacking threat down the left wing, delivering ten crosses and three key passes throughout the match.
James returned to the Owls on a free transfer in August to provide depth behind Max Lowe. However, with Lowe playing at center-back alongside Ernie Weaver following a recent hamstring injury, James has secured regular minutes and strengthened his case to keep the starting left-back position.
