Everything Manchester United star Lisandro Martinez said, as defender rips into club directors in extraordinary interview

Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez sharply criticized club leadership following a 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano. Speaking to Gabriel Clarke after the Champions League match, the Argentine center-back voiced intense frustration with United's poor start to the season, which has seen the team secure just two wins from nine matches under manager Michael Carrick.

Martinez specifically targeted technical director Jason Wilcox, stating that he expected more investment across the entire squad during the summer transfer window. While acknowledging that players must perform better, Martinez defended manager Carrick from primary blame, emphasizing that continuously changing managers overlooks deeper foundational issues within other areas of the club.
