Harry Kane is edging towards a new Bayern Munich deal, keeping him in Germany on a hugely lucrative deal for the forseeable future

Harry Kane has verbally agreed to a contract extension with Bayern Munich that will keep him with the German club until 2029. The 33-year-old striker reportedly sought a deal running until 2030, but Bayern held firm on a two-year extension. The new agreement is set to be worth £400,000 per week, with Bayern aiming to finalize terms before the Ballon d'Or ceremony on October 26.
Kane's current contract was set to expire at the end of the season. Since joining Bayern from Tottenham in 2023, Kane has scored prolifically, including a personal-best 61 goals in 51 games last season. The extension makes a return to chase Alan Shearer's Premier League goal record increasingly unlikely.
