Chelsea thumped Bournemouth 5-1 in a stunning show of their attacking firepower to go fifth in the early Premier League table.

Chelsea secured an emphatic 5-1 home victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Veteran midfielder Jordan Henderson led the attack with two spectacular goals, while Morgan Rogers and Joao Pedro also scored during a lightning-fast start. Pedro netted twice, opening the second half before adding another, as Xabi Alonso's team moved to fifth in the Premier League table.
Bournemouth managed a lone response through Evanilson in the 51st minute following a set-piece scramble, but Marco Rose's side remained winless. Henderson punctuated the comprehensive win with a curling 25-yard free-kick, ensuring Chelsea rebounded convincingly from their previous loss at Brentford.
