Atlético Ottawa reached their second consecutive Canadian Premier League Final after defeating Forge FC 3-2 in Hamilton to secure a 5-4 aggregate victory. Nicolas Fleuriau Chateau scored a historic hat trick for Ottawa, netting in the 25th, 84th, and 103rd minutes. His decisive stoppage-time strike came just two minutes after he conceded a penalty that allowed Forge's Dan Nimick to temporarily equalize.
Forge had stayed in contention through Hoce Massunda's first-half stoppage-time goal and Nimick's late penalty, but Ottawa held on to eliminate the Hamilton side. The reigning champions will face either Cavalry FC or expansion side FC Supra du Québec in the championship game, with Ottawa set to host the final on November 21 if Supra advances.
